Drink This in The Morning to Curb Cravings, Balance Blood Sugar and Reduce Inflammation (Gingered Golden Milk Recipe)
Start the morning sweetly, with a grounding mug of warm Golden Milk. This recipe curbs cravings, balances blood sugar, and reduces inflammation. The warming ginger boosts digestion and tames tummy troubles. This drink is golden indeed!
- Ginger, 1/2 inch piece, sliced
- Native Forest Coconut Milk, 1 can (16 oz)
- Water, 8 oz
- 1 tsp Turmeric, ground
- 1/8 tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- 1/8 tsp Cardamom, ground
- 1 tsp Raw Honey
- Place sliced ginger, coconut milk and water in a pot.
- Add turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and cardamom and stir.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour into two mugs
- Stir 1/2 tsp of honey into each mug
- Drink and enjoy!
